Something to Know - 27 August

Good Day.   Here are a few things to think about today.   Heather Cox Richardson is important to note that her contribution  for today does have some reflections on Trump's weaknesses on negotiating conditions for a debate, but most of her article concerns the attempts of voter suppression by MAGA /GOP to rig the election so that many who are eligible will not be able to vote.   My opinion is that the Democrats should consider using resources to begin now to educate voters in each state the importance of voting, and how each vote counts, and what specifics need to be followed to have that vote count.   There should be targeted ads and information for each state.   Doing so will reveal that there is a real threat posed by the Republicans to suppress the vote, and why the Democrats are informing them on how to strike back and ensure that their rights are not to be denied.
