Something to Know - 9 June

1.  We have been pestered in the news lately about "NET NEUTRALITY".   I, frankly, was too bothered by other subjects and media noise to pay much attention.   It really is a big deal, this "net neutrality".   In order to understand this to the point, of what it means, and what is at stake, I pass on to you this clip by John Oliver - he of Daily Show fame.  It helped me figure it out:

2.  If  you have been following the TV program Cosmos, you may wonder why it is that certain areas of this country are actively seeking to have it censored from being shown on the television machine.  Here is one reason why:

3.  Paul Krugman thinks that one of the biggest obstacles created by climate change deniers is deep-seated anti-intellectualism.  There is solid evidence that carbon gases are destroying our planet, but that awareness is being blocked by those who are attacking the facts and messengers:
