Something to Know - 8 June

1.  In order to blow back on the hateful court of public opinion fostered by the goons-on-the-couch at Fox News, this NY Times piece offers a bit of the observations from military personnel who are assigned to bring Bowe Bergdhal back from the mental and physical state of Taliban captivity.   It will be a while before this guy can stand on his own two feet:

3.  Apathy and feelings of disengagement are not healthy for maintaining a functional democracy.  Is there a relationship between pathetic voter turn being turned out from the benefits of the recession's recovery for our young adults?   This is not a healthy situation for all of us:
