Something to Know - 4 June

1.  David Frum speaks on the behalf of those in the Republican Party who need to know how to reform their body.  I think you should read this article. since it rings with the truth to once again be a viable and worthy rival.  However, after I read it, I am convinced that the extreme and close to them wing of the party just do not understand what he has just said.  It just goes over their heads:

2.  The NY Times comes in on the side of the Supreme Court that just approved the collection of DNA of people who are arrested.  The interesting 5-4 split is also a story in itself:

3.  Senator Frank Lautenberg has died.  The governor of the State of New Jersey is now poised to install his replacement.  This appointment is all Chris Christie.  The political nuances, ramifications, and fallout are enormous, and will set the tone of where the personal political future of Governor Christie goes from here on out:
