I know that at a time like this, we would normally expect a gradual sense of a transfer of power that leads up to an inauguration of a new president. Well, I think we can surmise that that is not going to happen, or at least how it has been done in the history of our personal experience of life in America. Perhaps it is not charitable to denigrate or castigate the past, and concentrate on saying all the wonderful things we expect in the future. Well, personally, I don't feel that way at all. I feel that the Trump era in the White House has so diminished our greatness, and divided our nation and the global community to the point that I am not just glad that he is gone, but that he must be held accountable. Voting him out was the big achievement for me, and there will be much repair work to be done. As far as the former president is concerned, this article is intended to enable the catharsis we all deeply need to spit on and stomp to justify much of the distaste we have for the lying fat boy:
****
Juan
Juan
I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
