Corruption in Mexico has been present for a long time. Corruption exists everywhere. This NY Times story is part of the peeling away of the layers so we all can understand and see the who, what, where, of it all. Perhaps it took the recent massacre in Iguala, Mexico to raise it to a level that all could see. Journalists are investigating and reporting the facts. You should read this. I know it is very long, and for that reason I am not going to clog this email up with megabytes of data that will not sail over Gmail. If you do read this, you may want to accept the fact that this exact same problem exists here in the USA. We have crooked Mexicans hiding money up here in the United States, while we have crooked Americans hiding money overseas. That is a fact of a Global economy. National boundaries exist so that crooked people people can hide their loot from tax collections and public scrutiny in other countries. And......so it goes:
