1.  if you have been watching TV's episodes of Cosmos and Years of Living Dangerously, you are probably well aware that science is correct in determining that humans are contributing to the nasty effects of greenhouse gases.   Furthermore, you may not understand why fundamentally lame bozos as running around as climate deniers.  John Oliver has a way of getting to the heart of why the debate stalls and facts are ignored:
