Something to Know - 30 March

1.  It is very easy to get mad and upset about this news article.  It has been going on for a long, long time by out-numbered Republicans.   In an other sense, think about historians as they write about this era of inequality, and how keeping people away from the ballot box was nothing more than a continuation of the Republicans mantra of the denial of civil rights to those who have been continually denied:

2.  Yes, we have the continuation of nations and powers haggling and fighting over that area of land above sea level.   Here, the some-time interesting Thomas Friedman gives us a view on the games currently being played under the Arctic Circle for that time when Global Warming will eventually open up new sea lanes to global trade:
