Something to Know - 4 October

There are so many opinions, views, and articles about the GeeOpie "shutdown", that there are a multitude of ways to see all that is going on.  I wish I could say that it is trite and boring, but it is not.  The longer this goes down, the worse it is for this country and the GOP.  I just picked this one piece by Timothy Egan to pass on.  It summarizes the facts and highlights the frustrations.  No need to add more to the fire, at least for today:
