Republicans walled off from Latino voters

1.  David Brooks has written an excellent analysis on the situation in Egypt which has resulted in the removal of Morsy.  This puts him at odds with the Obama administration, and chiefly the President.   You know what, I agree with Brooks, and I wish that our president would quit coming down on the wrong side of some key issues lately.  I know that he has to defend the United States, and he seems obligated to mouth dialogue and walk the written script, but there is a time when better chosen words, and daring leadership is called for:

2.  Continuing on with the other side of the wrong side of the issue, Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, simply states that we can take the truth and be told that the NSA has been invading our privacy.  No need to lie about it and tell us that it is all transparent, and no problems.  Yes, just tell us the truth.  So, take this one step further on down the line and figure out where Snowden figures in on this whole situation:
