Trump lawyer TY Cobb: Trump is “evil,” “corrupt” and should already be in Prison!Ty also shares Trump’s plan for stealing midterms
Donald Trump is “evil,” “corrupt” and should be sitting in a prison cell is something I say just about daily. But when a person who worked with Trump personally as the lawyer for the White House says that—and is increasingly ringing alarm bells about what Trump is plotting for this election—we should all take note. That is why I spoke to attorney Ty Cobb—who didn’t represent Trump personally but was legal counsel for the White House at the outset of Robert Mueller’s probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. Cobb served for a little over a year in that capacity from 2017 to 2018—and had close contact with Trump in that period. After Cobb resigned from that position, he publicly pushed back on Trump’s claim that the Mueller investigation was a “witch hunt” and he called Mueller an “American hero.” But after Trump’s Jan. 6 terrorist attack, he became much more vocal in his criticism of Trump. And this year Cobb has upped the warnings as he watched Trump became increasingly more dangerous and unhinged. In our conversation, the well-known lawyer point blank stated about Trump that there is no “precedent in American history for somebody as corrupt or evil in the White House.” He then added, that Trump would do “everything he can to try to hold on to that power.” Anything. That should come as no surprise given Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 election by his campaign of lies, false elector scheme and then incited the Jan. 6 terrorist attack. But when is the last time you heard corporate media discuss those Trump criminal actions in the context of covering his push for “election protection” with The SAVE America Act and executive orders to control mail in ballots?! Corporate media has dropped talking Trump’s criminal conduct to curry favor with Trump. In connection with the upcoming midterm, Cobb raised concerns as to both what Trump will do to stop people from voting and then after the election. In advance, Cobb flagged Trump’s efforts to rig elections by the ballot scheme and warned of Trump utilizing ICE to intimidate voters. After the election, Cobb warns Trump will seize voting machines, file countless lawsuits and then order the House GOP to contest the results to not seat Democrats who win. He added, “Congress is totally under the control ‘little Mikey Johnson’ and he’s doing everything he can to facilitate the President’s unlawful attempts to retain power.” Why is Trump laser focused on rigging—and if need be—stealing this election? As Cobb explained it’s two-fold. First, he doesn’t want Democrats to control Congress because they will investigate him, his family and corrupt allies. Second, as Cobb explained, “the corruption spigot sort of dries up a little bit.” He then pointed to the latest example of Trump’s corruption with his imposing 100% tariff on drones being imported to the United States. Cobb stated, “Why? Because his two sons have interest in drone… in domestic drone companies. You know, that’s the kind of thing that should be impeachable.” Trump’s two older sons do have financial ties to drone companies and the shares of those companies popped as soon as the potential tariffs were first mentioned. I asked Cobb about whether based on the evidence if Trump should be in prison? He answered for bluntly, “Of course.” He then ticked off the evidence against Trump in both the attempted coup case and in the classified documents case. Cobb noted, “The evidence is overwhelming” that Trump committed felonies. That is why Trump should be in prison. I also inquired as to whether Cobb was surprised Trump has not personally attacked him like other lawyers who have spoken out. You can hear the why for this and more in our conversation below!
