Something to Know - 12 September

The Debate is over, and the autopsy of the defeated is in full display.  Kamala Harris took command and took Trump for a ride.  By his presence in the "spin room", his appearance confirmed that he knew he blew it, and was going to bully and lie his way back.   It was not working for him, and it is plain to all that he was the big loser in the match.  After an apparent slow down in energy, the Harris/Walz campaign is revving back after allowing those unsure and undecided voters the best candidate.   Taylor Swift put icing on the cake when she endorsed Harris, and close to 400,000 younger fans took the plunge and started registering.   We are going to hear more and see more, but it seems to be the new TV program - watching Trump disintegrate before our eyes - like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.   I don't know about you, but ever since Trump started his evil journey back in 2015, and re-reading Sinclair Lewis's It Can't Happen Here, it feels as though we are going to emerge from the darkest period of our country in good shape.   I know that this is not all over yet, but the fact that the sham has been exposed, and we are in a better position to know the who and what of it all, and that we are going to be prepared for the possible eruption of another insurrection, and are working on that aspect, I feel as though we are going to be a reborn nation:

Robert Reich presents more of his interpretation of Trumponomics:

And for dessert, Andy Borowitz speaks to the issue of the Russian version of Geppetto being upset:
