So, here we are a few days after the spineless Senate GeeOpie "elected officials" covered up Trump's mess. The short term effect is acquittal, while the long term effect is a gnawing sting of suppressed guilt hanging over the tuft of the orange-headed blowhard. If the Democrats can grind out more information from witnesses and subpoenaed documents, the coverup may not hold for very long. Now is not the time to give up and just hope that the November election will settle this matter. The Dems need to keep pushing for more information while scouring the country for more registrations and beating back GeeOpie attempts of voter suppression. Tomorrow is the presentation of the President's State of the Union. In my mind, if Trump even opens his mouth to gloat or demean the Democrats in any way, all attending House and Senate Democrats should simply rise up and walk out of the chamber. And, since Trump is always attuned to the ratings games, we should all ignore watching the spectacle on TV, thereby reducing the numbers. Trump, to his benefit, should go back to elementary school, and figure out where all the states are and know that Kansas City (the winners of the Super Bowl) is in Missouri, and not Kansas. McCaskill calls Trump a Stone Cold Idiot.
If the Democrats can unite in purpose and not eat each other up in campaigning, and Trump's narcissistic ego trips him up along the way, there is a way out of this depressing mess.
