Something to Know - 26 March

I hope you had time to watch the coverage of the March of Our Lives this past Saturday.   It has been decades since I felt the same emotion - probably back in the protest days of the 60s.    The young adults (who are commonly referred to as "the kids") give promise that we may yet become the great America that is for real again.   This morning on "Morning Joe" I was captured and haunted by a 3-minute video of the "Sights and Sounds of the March of Our Lives" and MSNBC produced.   I had to do much Internet searching before I found on that the music that backs up the video is actually written and sung by Joe Scarborough of "Morning Joe".   In fact it was released today.  This may be the anthem that takes the movement forward:

Patriotism is not a short and frenzied outburst of emotion but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.
