Something to Know - 6 December

Michael Brown and Eric Garner are not the only victims of questionable police tactics, and sadly are not the only ones going forward.  The subject of reasons why this condition exists is deep and wide, and we can vent, discuss, and debate this and eventually go nowhere to solve the problem.   Needing to find a way out of this shameful situation, attention to a legal resolution is where we need to concentrate our actions.   The protests, peaceful and otherwise, have focused attention that this is not just a problem of Black males vs. Police, but that this condition is an insult to our system of justice, and needs a remedy.   Here is one article that goes back to the LAPD (Los Angeles Police), and where the legal obstacles need to be removed or redefined before reform can be achieved:
