This past few weeks, we have been reminded of the 40th anniversary of the existence of Nixon's oval office tapes. Most of the analysis of those recordings dwell on the revelation of the basic insecurities and malevolent weakness of RMN. In this piece, Maureen Dowd leads us to a similar exercise where the 43rd president has his own character failings as he would write a book about his father.
