Something to Know - 22 February

1.  The Daily Show usually brings us, through the wonderful art of satire and comedy, a humorous presentation of honest news in a laughable way.  Jon Stewart, this piece, is totally serious and amazed on the issue of our health care system in his interview with Jim Brill, on an article written in Time Magazine.   I do not recall Stewart every being as affected by any one news story before.  Make sure you see all three videos.  Easy - nothing to read...just watch:

2.  The Albany News Bureau has been actively perusing the news media in the Bay Area, and has found this gem.   It concerns a schism within the unity of the Democrats.  Probably not as serious as the turmoil in the Republican party, but it does make you wonder:

3.  "Sequestration".  Dems and GOPers do not like it.  David Brooks, here in this piece, writes about the mutual likes and dislikes of it.  I think the best suggestion is the one that came from Rachel Maddow.  To paraphrase her..."  You guys got together last year and passed it.  Now, neither of you like it and predict bad things from it....    So, why can't you get together this year and up-pass it.  Just have it go away by voting it away.  Don't do it".....":
