1.  As it is becoming clear, Herman Cain is not ready for prime time.  As Ms. Bachmann before him, he should learn to keep his trap shut instead of winging it:

6.  You've read some of my rants on Big Money & Big Football.  Here's a story in the LA Times about Pomona College (actually Pomona-Pitzer), and their football program.  This is what college football is like at Division III, and maybe the big schools should take it to heart:
