From J5:
I just checked in on "THE" website. I love it. This is renewing an old resource (J6's old blog), and taking in the mindless prattle from his dad, and composting it in a new location. I never knew what Urban Planners did when they had no urbans to plan. I wonder how this fits in with a book I am reading (The Blog Theory) for my Politics class. I got it now, I digest it, and you composte it; decentralized communication capitalism.
Another break from wedding planning:
For a good laugh, check out www.ijuantu2know.blogspot.com. I am directing emails I receive on a daily basis from Juan's dad Juan to this blogger site. I set it up awhile ago, in graduate school (it was known as "Juan Matute Explains It All" previously), but now that Juan's dad has started offering commentary on the various articles he sends out, I've decided it is time to start utilizing the address.
Background:
Back when the NY Times charged readers to read op-ed articles online, Juan's dad had taken to subscribing and then pasting the text of the op-eds to a select group of individuals. This became his "work" after he retired from Delta. By the time the NY Times discontinued this practice, Juan had taken to reading the NY Times, the LA Times, the Washington Post, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution (daily). He would then cut and paste articles he thought would instigate invigorating, intellectual conversation under the subject header "For Your Conversation Topics".
